Facebook reported a stellar set of quarterly numbers. While the growth was robust across all offerings, mobile advertising sales seems to have outstripped all others. Over 59% of the advertising sales revenue came from mobile vis-a-vis 53% in the last quarter. Being a factor of overall viewership, 1.01 Bn active monthly users were on mobile out of the total 1.28 Bn. With a 79% share of active users, mobile is truly steam rolling desktop. As a marketer its time to stop thinking left and right and embrace up & down.
