Nokia, the world’s biggest mobile phone manufacturer has filed yet another complaint against Apple over 5 patent infringements for the iPhone and the iPad. The patents are with reference to the technologies for enhanced speech and data transmission and usage of positioning data in applications and innovations in antenna configurations all of which focus towards improvement in performance and saving of space, thereby, allowing creation of smaller and more compact devices.

The case has been filed because Nokia is believed to be planning a range of  heavy duty smartphones and tablets which will obviously compete with both the iPhone and the iPad.

Nokia’s filing in federal court in Madison, Wisconsin, helped push Apple shares down 4.2 percent in New York trading, their steepest drop since Jan. 22. Let’s see who wins the battle in the court!
