As they say…technology can do anything and soon people will be replaced by robots! As strange as it may sound…the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas showcased …ROXXXY, world’s first sex robot.
Roxxxy was developed by New Jersey-based True Companion and engineer Douglas Hines, and she’s much more than just a blow-up doll. Simply put, she is an anatomically correct bot engineered to interact with users by responding to simple conversation through an internal speaker. All responses, though, are prerecorded.
Depending on the personality you choose–“Wild Wendy” or “Frigid Farrah” for instance–Roxxxy may purr a metallic, “That gets me hot!” after you introduce a topic like soccer. She says, “I love holding hands with you” when it a creator touches its hand.
Owners will also be able to select different personalities for Roxxxy, from “Wild Wendy” to “Frigid Farrah,”. The makers are charging somewhere from $7,000 to $9,000 for the robot, including the laptop, and expects to start shipping in a few months.A Japanese company, Honey Dolls, makes life-size sex dolls that can play recorded sounds, but Roxxxy’s sensors and speech capabilities appear to be more sophisticated. The company has alos highlighted that this is just the beginning and its broader goal of the company is still to take artificial personalities into the mainstream, beyond sex toys!
We in India need kiosks at every possible centre with one of these as a measure to reduce the attacks on Women in Public..
and then there will be a day when even male kiosks would be required to curb the attacks on Men;)
Lol…well I wud agree with you. With the frequencey with which we have attacks on women increasing this just might b a solution for ‘THE” desperate men out there!
