Sony Ericsson announced the Sony Ericsson Elm phone and the Bluetooth™ Noise Shield Handsfree VH700, the newest additions to the company’s GreenHeart™ portfolio. This mobilephone and accessory provide consumers with an expanded range of products to make an educated green choice without compromising on design and functionality.
With green being the mantra going into the New Year, Sony Ericsson also announced today, the intention to make all accessories greenheart compliant by 2011. With the Elm phones Sony Ericsson gives you the power to block background noise, with the Noise shield, Clear Voice and intelligent Volume Adaptation. Keeping in line with the Communication Entertainment proposition, the phone offers an easy-to-use social networking experience featuring the Widget Manager application, which allows users access their social networking page via the stand-by screen and quickly switch between different social networks,” said Peter Ang, Vice President of Marketing of Asia Pacific at Sony Ericsson.
Changes like an E manual in the phone, minimized packaging, waterborne paint, the use of recycled plastics, and low power consumption chargers make the phone truly a ‘Smartphone’. The phone also comes loaded with the Walkmate application which tracks your daily exercise, so keep yourself and your environment fit.
