LG’s BL40 Chocolate was launched in India recently. The LG BL40, successor to the highly acclaimed Chocolate series, looks to be ‘the’ phone If one goes by the looks. Let’s take a look at some of the key features of the phone;
- a 4-inch scratch-resistant, multi-touch enabled display that sports an 800 x 345 pixel resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio
- 3G with HSDPA, EDGE/GPRS
- 5 mega pixel camera with Schinder-Kreuznach lens and flash featuring smile and blink detection, image stabilization and manual focus
- Stereo FM radio with FM transmitter

- Divx codec for video playback
- Dolby Mobile sound engine
- Wi-Fi with DLNA, Bluetooth with A2DP, USB 2.0 (micro)
- GPS with A-GPS with Google Maps and geotagging
- 1GB internal memory with microSD card support
- 3.5mm earphone socket with TV out
The new chocolate comes embedded with content from director James Cameron’s epic 3D fantasy, Avatar as a part of its association with Twentieth Century Fox. The BL40 comes at a heavy price tag of Rs. 30,000.
