The new Nokia e72…open for booking in India

Nokia has finally brought the much awaited E72 to India. The high-end E-Series device is considered as the successor to the very famous E71, that has a great fan following.

The E72 is pretty similar to the E71 and boasts of  WAY better features as compared with its predecessor;

• QWERTY Keypad with an optical track pad

• GPS with A-GPS support though Nokia Maps
• 5 megapixel camera with LED flash
• MicroSD card support up to 16GB

• 3.5mm audio input

Even after some really impressive features, you cant imagine yourself going for e72 over an i-phone but let me tell you one thing, e72 is one of the most successful messaging devices this side of a BlackBerry when it comes to hardware keyboard performance, pushing even successful onscreen keyboards with killer auto-correction into the shade.

If your preference is messaging above all else and you want a compact but highly usable device with a strong QWERTY keyboard, the E72 makes an excellent case for itself. You might argue about the old S60 platform, but rest assured, it isn’t dead as yet people!
