Twitter introduces the Tweet Button Bookmarklet

What do you do if you go to a website and that does not have a tweet button? Twitter has a solution here; the Tweet Button Bookmarklet.

Yes, the Tweet Button Bookmarklet allows you to tweet a link with your own commentary from anywhere on the web. All you need to do is to drag and drop the Bookmarklet into your browser’s bookmark bar. Like the Tweet Button, it shortens links automatically. If there’s a Twitter account listed on the site, it also may suggest users to follow.

To install the Bookmarklet, visit this page and drag the “Share on Twitter” link to your bookmark bar on any browser

Enjoy tweeting and don’t forget to share this news with your friends.

Hey Muddassir, I agree with you but the core benefit that twitter offers is that it let’s you communicate in short and without clutter. So its a two way benefit, one is where you can share links [like stumble upon and blog this] and second is you can engage in a dialogue with anyone you want to.
