Win a trip to US – Earth Day Contest

With Earth Day round the corner, iVillage, a leading women’s digital brand and CafePress, the portal for user-designed apparel and gifts have launched the “Picture Your World” online photo contest to celebrate Earth Day. All you need to do is submit the photo that best answers for you, “Why on earth are you saving the  planet?” and you could win a vacation to St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Also, every eligible participant will get a limited edition reusable tote.

Here are the steps to enter the contest: Visit http://ivillage.cafepress.com/earthday/ and upload a photo and write a caption that illustrates your inspiration and passion for the planet.

Each eligible participant will receive a free, special-edition eco tote from CafePress designed by Studio Number One, founded by Shepard Fairey, and be in for a chance to win the grand prize giveaway, a four-day/three-night all-inclusive eco vacation for four to the Wyndham Sugar Bay Resort & Spa in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The getaway also includes a voluntourism excursion to Hassel Island through Virgin Islands Eco Tours. The last date to upload the photo is April 30, 2010. Users can view and vote on all the entries at http://vote-ivillage.cafepress.com.

All the participants of the “Picture Your World” contest participants will also have the opportunity to purchase a selection of eco-friendly products on CafePress that feature their photo submission, including reusable SIGG water bottles, organic T-shirts and organic aprons. A share of the money generated will be donated to CarbonFund.org.
